Yes. This may, however, scrog the GCC automated snapshots, which
should really be using the new script anyhow now. It's still OK to
remove this script on the branch, because as you say it might confuse
people. But, you should make sure that the gccadmin
cronjob uses a local copy and/or update it to use the new script.
