I recommend <strong> over <b>, for the twelve of us who occasionally
use lynx.  :-)

Random coffee-fueled remarks:

- Wish we had some icons of the 1920's-style pointing hands, surrounding
  that statement.  Something more than just boldface, at least.

- Wish the mailing list page started with a big bold paragraph reading,
  "If you ask questions on these lists which are already in the FAQ,
  you will be silently ignored."  (I know, I know...)

- Wish an HTML page could call autoconf macros.  Then when the viewer
  loads it, we could call AC_PROG_CC.  If it comes back positive, we
  display the page.  If it comes back negative, we only display your text
  in bold above.
