There exist a few files that are no longer used and aren't interesting for
contrib either. OK to remove the files

dostage2
dostage3
patch-apollo-includes

on mainline and branch?

Will any new VMS support use the existing VMS build files, or will it use
the Unix build system only? If the latter, OK to remove

make-l2.com
makefile.vms
vmsconfig.com

as well? (I guess we don't want to try to support multiple entirely
different build systems any more.)

Another probably obsolete file in the gcc directory is "listing". In
principle it might be useful for contrib, but it uses /tmp insecurely and
probably isn't worth fixing since I think using -Wa,-a with the GNU
assembler will do its job adequately. OK to remove that as well?
