Having the mail archives strip out "Content-Type: text/html" and its
cousins would probably be a good thing.
It's one thing for an occasional SPAM message to get through. It is quite
another for html SPAM with six GIF files attached to permenantly take space
in the archives.
It would be even worse if they had included one of those crappy Javascript
that open multitudes of new browser windows to porn sites.
