The 5.5-2 system is VAX-only, of course. the 7.1 system is VAX
[clustered with 7.1-1H2 Alphas, which i currently cannot access]. the
7.2-1 is VAX and Alpha.

that is what i am currently doing [waiting], since i saw a note
stating that ACT would be bringing in their changes which would help
out on the Alpha.
