That's because I wasn't sure whether you guys will incorporate it or not;
it was rather a suggestion than a patch.

After I will clarify the issue in the thread
"Re: -Os should default optimize to 2, without enforcing it"
with Geoff, I will modify the patch a bit, to make it consistent with how
-Os works. Then, I will resubmit the patch, and also the "invoke.texi"
patch.
