Except that this currently won't work, as dejagnu only sets 
LD_LIBRARY_PATH/SHLIB_PATH for running programs (unix.exp), but not for 
compiling/linking (libgloss.exp) them :-(. I guess this is also the root of 
the c++ ambiguity I reported earlier if you enter the testsuite with 
LD_LIBRARY_PATH containing /usr/lib as happens under KDE2.
