Thanks for reminding me.

I thought that we had pretty well agreed (over some objections from
the BSD folks) that fixincludes ought to run pretty much everywhere.

The basic argument is that you will never know what new fix might be
needed there.

Why do we not want to run fixincludes on Solaris?

My suggestion would be to instead conditionalize the fixes themselves
to not fire on Solaris -- if you know that they don't need running.

I'm not an expert on this, so I'm willing to be swayed.
