Loren James Rittle bootstraped and checked without any regressions on
i386-unknown-freebsd3.4 without any explicit target being listed to
configure (compared to unpatched tree being explicitly configured for
i386-unknown-freebsdelf3.4).
In addition, I have also successfully bootstrapped GCC with that patch
on FreeBSD 3.4.
Unless someone objects (are explictly approves the patch, which I'd
prefer), I am going to commit it as obvious fix early next week.
The FreeBSD port currently is broken due to
