I've updated these files to libtool 1.2f on the branch and in the mainline
sources. Nothing in egcs uses libtool which makes this change totally safe.
The motivation behind the change is to make it easier to build & test the
libgcj java runtime library which requires libtool 1.2f or newer.
There'll also be some trivial additions to the toplevel Makefile & configure
code so that the build system will automatically build the java runtime
libraries if they're placed into an egcs source tree.
The good news is that, yes, it built without any headaches. However, running
the testsuite has not been easy.
