m68k-elf support

First, I don't subscribe to this list, so please Cc: me on any replies.

As I've brought up on the egcs list, I've got some patches for adding 
m68k-elf support to gcc-2.7.2.2; I would like to see it supported in 
egcs, but the legalities need working out, since the patches aren't 
mine: I got them from Mark Phillips <M.S.Phillips@nortel.co.uk>.  From 
his email it didn't sound like he considered the patches significant, 
since he basically took similar files and modified them; but I'm pretty 
naive about copyright issues.

I've included the patch file as an attachment to avoid line wrap 
problems, but I've had trouble with attachments in hotmail.  Let me know 
if it doesn't get there.  I show it as 7551 bytes; the last lines should 
be:

        m68k-*-lynxos*)
                if [ x$gas = xyes ]
                then
