Sigh, well, that's better than missing it by less than 30 minutes,
which I thought I'd done.
So instead of being mad at myself for responding at length to some
email that seemed to misinterpret something I'd written earlier,
I can be mad at myself for letting my wife fall asleep on my lap
for a couple of hours earlier in the evening.
That's a lot easier to live with. :)
I'll probably put the patches into g77 0.5.24 anyway, because they're
mostly about clearing up all the questions people might have about
what the various versions and variants of g77 are all about. But
I had been hoping to make 0.5.24 and 1.1 as close as possible (for
g77)...perhaps focusing on 0.5.24 and 1.1.1 equivalency would be wiser.
