It is on Sparc. I had to work through a number of issues for HP PA-RISC
and AIX 5.2 with GCC 4.2.1, but never saw the problem "No rule to make
target `all'. " I'll have to keep digging.

I did get decent success with gcc 4.3.3 if that is of any help.
Is this on Sparc or i386 ?
