building gcc cross compiler

Subject: building gcc cross compiler

Hii,

         Can anyone please tell me which gcc version
should I build for Ada language as I want to build it
as a cross compiler on Linux for intel i960 target
processor.

I have already tried gcc-3.4.6 and gcc-3.4.2 but there
is some error in both builds.
