I forgot to add the ULL suffix. Now it is ok.
I see you are using AIX. Do you have any experience with the STIOCMD IOCTL? The reason I ask is that I can't get it to work on AIX 5.2 with a FC tape drive. I do not see any problems with direct attach SCSI tape drive. With FC I get a errno 22 (invalid agrument). I am using the OST driver to access the tape drive. STIOCMD FCP fixes are mentioned on ATape fix list but I have a feeling it might not be supported by the OST driver.
Thanks!
