to answer my own question:
I had to creaty symlinks in the objdir (gcc-build)
ln -s stagefeedback-gcc gcc
ln -s stagefeedback-intl intl
ln -s stagefeedback-libcpp libcpp
ln -s stagefeedback-libiberty libiberty
and I was able to perform a proper installation.
Is this intensional ?
cheers Tobias
