Compiling gcc-3.2.3 error

Hello,
I seem to have a problem building gcc-3.2.3.
Platform:
$ uname -a
Linux ......umt.edu 2.4.20-13.7smp #1 SMP Mon May 12 12:31:27 EDT 2003
i686 unknown
My attempt:
$ /home/amac/gcc-3.2.3/configure
