Hmm - that should work. I've successfully subscribed in and out of other GCC
lists using it. I think it generates a 'confirm' mail which you may have to
reply to - I presume you got that and replied to it?
Another option, as mentioned beneath the www interface, is to look in your
message headers for the "List-Unsubscribe:" header. It will contain an email
address with your address encoded in it; if you send a mail to that address,
that should start unsubscribe you (or start the process) too.

gcc.gnu.org's alter ego:
