"make clean" after installation?

Hi,
I've installed gcc 3.2.1 on my laptop, and it now takes ~ 450 MB,
which I can not afford; at
http://gcc.gnu.org/install/finalinstall.html
I can't find how to remove the unnecessary stuff --- can I use
"make clean" (after "make install"), or how else can I decrease
the disk space used by the installation?!
