15 hours compiling Gcc 3.2.1

Hello.
I'm compiling gcc 3.2.1 with gcc.3.0.1 on aix 4.3.3 and i think is very
stranger that it after :
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/gcc32 --enable-languages=c,c++ --enable-thre
ads=aix
That works fine
/usr/local/make
it still is running after 15 hours.All time screen shows:
checking for hypot declaration.... yes
checking for xxx declaration.... yes
checking for .............
Is it correct ?
