cross-compile for embedded 186 target?

Subject: cross-compile for embedded 186 target?

I am considering switching to gcc for our embedded systems using an AMD186
processor. Looking over the manual, I only see mention of the 32-bit x86
targets (386 and higher).
Is it possible to generate code for the 186?
