RE: help- gcc porting


to build a cross gcc you dont need to specify target OS, you 
have to specify the target platform though. for eg: if its IA64
you say --target=ia64-unknown-linux.
for mc68K Iam not sure what the target name is, so as I had said
find that from the gnu site.

I actually wanted to build it for a minimlistic unix type os..
Hence what should be the target to be specified..
