it does not work unfortunately. i guess i forgot something to link - is
this possible?
when i compare the calls from linking vs glibc and linking vs libc5, it
seems to be the same.
what about the libc5 crt*.o files. i guess, they are built with a gcc-2.7
- are they binary compatible with the gcc-2.95 code?
