Bug #: 52200
Summary: Archives of some old versions of gcc are corrupted
Classification: Unclassified
Product: gcc
Version: unknown
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: web
AssignedTo: unassigned@gcc.gnu.org
ReportedBy: maisqual.project@gmail.com
I had to download old versions of gcc for research purpose, and found some
releases to be corrupted. Namely:
* gcc-4.3.0.tar.bz2
* gcc-4.3.4.tar.bz2
* gcc-4.4.3.tar.bz2
* gcc-4.4.5.tar.bz2
* gcc-4.5.3.tar.bz2
* gcc-4.6.0.tar.bz2
* gcc-4.6.1.tar.bz2
I was able to get them right with the bzip2recover utility, but this would be a
plus to have them clean on the download site.
