Yes you are right but if I can upgrade my system at Home (Mandriva 2007.1), I
cannot do the same at office (Debian etch for everybody and for several
years).
I previously used Gfortran-4.3.0 prebuilt package, also implementing OpenMP,
and this one did not have this trouble (but had few others). Unfortunately,
this package has disappeared from GfortranWiki.
I would like to underline that the proposed package is assumed to be complete
and not to interact with any other previous installed version (this is
written in GfortranWiki).
