I think it was my mistake. I assume Philip used my x86-64-linux nightly build.
I found out that I applied Daniel's finalizer patch to the wrong tree.
That explains why it fails with the finalize patch but not with the (clean)
trunk. However, knowing this failure is useful nonetheless as one can then iron
out the problem before the finalizer merge.
