I cannot find the mail right now via the web interface and I'm travelling and
my gcc mbox files are on a different machine. Maybe I'm mixing things up then.
But I thought Richi sent a message complaining that SPEC (or some other major
piece of software) got broken by this change and in the discussion it was
agreed to revert the removal.
But, like I said, I cannot find the discussion right now so maybe I dreamt
it.
Richi, do you remember?
