This bug is not fixed yet.
Current gcc still generates:
return (*(p + (i + 2) * 4) + *(p + (i + 1) * 4)) + *(p + (i + 3) * 4);
1. it still fails to extract the common expression at tree level.
2. it generates ineffecient initial RTL, so later optimizers have little chance
to do something useful with it.
