I want to reiterate that I am as little a linux-kernel maintainer as I am a GCC
maintainer. The linux-kernel is in excellent hands and does not need me. Out of
sheer laziness and/or intellectual poverty the example given was cribbed from
the kernel and extensively modified by myself.
I am doing this as retiree (not needing a job) in regards as a former (30 years
ago) real-time assembly programmer.
