That depends on what "big deal" means. :-) You just have to unpack the tarball
and follow the instructions at
http://gcc.gnu.org/install/specific.html#x-x-solaris2
http://gcc.gnu.org/install/specific.html#sparc-sun-solaris2
and
http://gcc.gnu.org/install/specific.html#sparc64-x-solaris2
for the 64-bit compiler.
