I highly doubt that, unless "your users" is only applying
to users of the GNU OS (i.e. GNU/HURD) ;-)
Even then, you _might_ _want_ to fix a critical security
problem in an older version _even_ if it's discontinued.
Or at least supply a patch to interested parties.
