Now, I get a "segmentation fault" -- instead of dead lock.
gcjx is compiled with mainline GCC/g++.
I was trying to compile classptah.
Adding generated files in builddir '..'.
/home/gdr/bin/gcjx -encoding UTF-8 -classpath .: -d . @classes
make[1]: *** [compile-classes] Segmentation fault
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/gdr/build/classpath/lib'
