Actually I was wrong on which patch caused/exposed this,
This was caused by:
2005-05-14 Richard Guenther <rguenth@gcc.gnu.org>
* fold-const.c (div_if_zero_remainder): New function.
(try_move_mult_to_index): Use it.
div_if_zero_remainder uses the unsigned ness of the domain, which is wrong.
