Reduced testcase. The program should print
6.00E+00 0.00E+00
but prints
4.00E+00 0.00E+00
when compiled with -O:

integer i
complex a, b, c
b = 2
c = 0
do i = 1, 2
a = 2 * b - c
c = b
b = a
end do
print '(2ES10.2)', a
