Confirmed, reduced testcase:
typedef enum {
IssueItemFlag_Discard = 0x1
} IssueItemFlag;
void
BlockRegion_findInvariants(IssueItemFlag invariant, unsigned char a)
{
a |= invariant;
}
Only -fshort-enums is needed to reproduce the bug.
