AFAIK, there is no commitment or plans to support compatibility
between g77 and gfortran binary file formats. If you absolutely
must have this feature, then please submit a seperate bug reports
asking for this enhancement. NB: I doubt that this feature would
be very high on anyone's list of things to do.
