I built an m68hc11 cross compiler from mainline, last updated Thursday, without
binutils/newlib, on an IA-64 Debian unstable system whose system compiler is
gcc-3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-2). The result can compile your testcase with -S, -O
-S, and -O2 -S. I do not get any ICE.
There is some ambiguity in this bug report. It requires building a m68hc11
cross compiler, but does not specify the sources used for this cross compiler.
It includes a testcase, but does not give the compiler options used to compile
it. There may also be other things missing that are relvent.
I can't help fix a problem if I can't reproduce it. I suggest that you try
being more precise about what exactly you did to produce the error.
