a real pain to read in Bugzilla (or anywhere else).]
I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean by "fix your mailer". I enter reports
by typing directly into the text box on the gcc bugzilla web page (like I'm
doing right now, the URL is http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17448), and the text box shows the text wrapped (while I'm typing) although it apparently doesn't leave it
wrapped after it's submitted. Based on prior complaints, the same used to happen
when Bugzilla was accessed via IE (I'm in Firefox right now). I try to remember
to manually insert CR's, but it's a pain like trying to enter running text in 'vi' where you have to go back and reorganize text anytime you change something.
It's easy to forget because you can't see the CRs in the browser, and it's easy to miss a few evebn when you do remember.
What do you guys do to get Bugzilla to format text in paragraphs, or do you just put
in CRs by hand too?
p.s. Thanks to Wolgfang for clearing up a deep misunderstanding of mine
regarding template behavior. I had thought that a plain function with signature
like a template of the same name acted like a specialization, and the plain
function simply replaced the corresponding instantiation in the visible world. I
*hope* (for all our sakes) that you'll get fewer bogus bug reports from me know.
Ivan
(CRs added by hand above)
