Actually, I am using a newer version of gcc (The latest stable version in the
gentoo portage tree), but when building an external program, this program
specifically requested gcc version 3.0.4. So I decided to install gcc 3.0.4,
besides my current version, and use gcc-config to switch between both versions.
Maybe it'll work to downgrade glibc, or it may even possible to use two glibc
versions side by side, or the gentoo people might have a solution. But that's
not your concern, I'll leave this bug as RESOLVED WONTFIX.
