If you choose to "Accept Bug (Change State to ASSIGNED)" when not logged in.
Bugzilla will correctly prompt you to log in.
After logging in bug state will be set to ASSIGNED, but instead of assigning it
to your ID, it will assign it to unassigned@gcc.gnu.org.
To repeat:
Log out of bugzilla.
Find an unassigned bug.
Click on the radio button for "Accept bug (change state to ASSIGNED)"
Click on COMMIT.
Bugzilla will prompt you to log in, do so.
Bugzila will then inform you that the bug was changed and emails were sent.
Look at the bug, it will be now correctly be "ASSIGNED", but instead of
assigning to you, it will assign it to "unassigned@gcc.gnu.org".
BTW, should there not be a "bugzilla" component within GCC's bugzilla?
