Sorry, Dave, I forgot to add myself to the CC list so I missed you message.
As Richard said, the patch introduced GC-related ICEs in the POOMA testsuite on
the 3.3 branch. Is this patch really required on that branch?
[My personal feeling is that touching the GC should not be allowed on a release
branch and that we started to pull the string with Zdenek's patch.]
