I can reproduce this with 3.5-tree-ssa 20040318 (merged 20040307)
(alphaev68-unknown-linux-gnu).
Test case:
int __atomic_readv_replacement(unsigned long iov_len, int count, int i) {
unsigned long bytes = 0;
while (i < count) {
if (9223372036854775807L - bytes < iov_len)
return 22;
}
return 0;
}
