[Bug java/14365] New: Missing .split method in java.lang.String

Was trying to compile a java program that uses a call to String.split(),
documented at
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/lang/String.html#split(java.lang.String,%20int)

This is what I get:

FileParser.java:91: Can't find method `split(Ljava/lang/String;)' in type
`java.lang.String'.
                   String [] parts = s.split("[ \t]+");
                                      ^
