configured as:

../gcccvsw/gcc/configure  --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu --target=mipsel-linux
--enable-languages=c,c++,java --with-headers=/home/mipsel-linux/mipsel-linux/include
--with-arch=mips32 --with-float=soft --prefix=/home/testcvs

It fails said test case.

The same test passes on the same configuration with 3.3.1
