Scott,
In your message to gcc-patches@, you didn't say on which platform you tested
the patch. Did it go through a full testing (rebuilding also v3 & libjava)?
Also, can you tweak the patch so that the error message appears at the opening
line of the class definition? It's a bit annoying to have it at the end.
