Summary: gcc --target-help tries to assemble and link
Product: gcc
Version: 3.4
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: driver
AssignedTo: unassigned at gcc dot gnu dot org
ReportedBy: ro at techfak dot uni-bielefeld dot de
CC: gcc-bugs at gcc dot gnu dot org
GCC build triplet: sparc-sun-solaris2.8
GCC host triplet: sparc-sun-solaris2.8
GCC target triplet: sparc-sun-solaris2.8
Running gcc --target-help, the driver tries to assemble and link, which
obviously fails and gives confusing errors:
Environment:
System: SunOS xayide 5.10 s10_42 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-1
Architecture: sun4

How-To-Repeat:
$ ./xgcc -B./ -v --target-help
