Summary: operand to volatile asm incorrectly removed
Product: gcc
Version: 3.4
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: inline-asm
AssignedTo: rth at gcc dot gnu dot org
ReportedBy: rth at gcc dot gnu dot org
CC: gcc-bugs at gcc dot gnu dot org
GCC build triplet: i686-linux
GCC host triplet: i686-linux
GCC target triplet: i686-linux
The first attached test case canaries the problem by generating an
obviously bogus "used before set" warning with -Wall. An x86-specific
modification yields a test case that demonstrates the loss of an
input operand to a volatile inline asm.
