No, it is really WAITING.
I sent the patch off to the originators of this bug report (who didn't report
via bugzilla, hence you do not see their names).
I am now waiting for their feedback. To test this patch on their problem,
you have to have access to a 4 Gb RAM 64 bit machine, and as I didn't win
one of the Itania offered at the last GCC Summit, I can't do it myself ;-)
