GAS -internal error with option --gdwarf2

Hello I' am using 

as -v

GNU assembler version 2.12 (powerpc-ibm-eabi) using BFD version 2.12
and 

GCC -v

Using builtin specs.
Configured with: ../gcc-3.0.4/configure --target=powerpc-ibm-eabi
--with-newlib
i686-ibm-cygwin
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.0.4

and when I assamble with the option --gdwarf2 

I receive the message
