I think your report is a little too unspecific for us to
figure out what is going wrong, and if it is the problem
of gcc, of make, or some other program. Can you describe
in a little more detail what the problem is, maybe quote
the relevant parts of the output you get during building
perl, and exploring a little but what goes wrong?
